Why do we need a facilitator for a family meeting?

Often, family meetings don't get to the real issue and if they do, conflict can erupt to make the whole experience ugly. A family meeting facilitator acts as neutral discussion manager to ensure everyone has their say and issues are discussed in a respectful manner.

How often do we meet as a family?

As often as necessary. Most families meet about twice a month to get started and then move to a monthly schedule.
